Gita Goldman

 Director of Practice

Gita is a coach, facilitator and consultant at RISE, known for her ability to hold space for honest, human conversations that create real movement.

She began her career in large-scale transformation programmes at Cancer Research UK and the United Nations, where she quickly realised that traditional models of “managing change” didn’t quite reflect the messy, beautiful complexity of real people navigating real life. That realisation shaped the path she’s followed ever since.

Thoughtful questions, openness, humour...

Gita brings curiosity, compassion and depth to her work, alongside a healthy dose of humour. She’s passionate about helping people understand themselves, see each other more clearly, and make space for new perspectives to emerge. Whether working one-on-one or with a whole team, she supports clients to ask better questions, connect more deeply, and shift long-held patterns with warmth and clarity.

Her approach is rooted in developmental practice and draws on a rich blend of methodologies, including Gestalt, systemic thinking, and relational coaching. Gita holds an MSc in People and Organisational Development from the University of Sussex, is certified in The Leadership Circle Profile, and holds an ILM7 in Coaching and a Certificate in Groupwork from the Gestalt Centre.

She has worked with clients across sectors including professional services, housing, education, FMCG, and international development. Her portfolio includes Boston Consulting Group, Warburtons, the United Nations, Ambition Institute, FK Group, and Cancer Research UK.

Gita believes that serious work can be fun, and that fun, playful work can be deeply serious. Her ability to bring both lightness and depth to complex group dynamics makes her a valued partner in all kinds of change.
