 Future // Now

Accelerating Gen Z to thrive at work

Future//Now is a development programme for emerging talent, designed to build key skills, resilience, and confidence for today’s workplaces. It supports those shaped by Covid and digital-first upbringings to realise their potential and thrive in their careers.

Gen Z Future Now

 Why it matters

The next generation is entering a world of work defined by complexity, speed, and shifting expectations. Many professionals in their 20's face this transition without the support or experience needed to navigate it with confidence. Without early development in core capabilities, like resilience, confidence, leadership, and voice, they risk being misunderstood, underused, or burnt out. This affects not only individual potential, but also organisational culture, performance, and long-term competitiveness.

Supporting them now builds stronger people, and stronger organisations.

Who's it for?

This programme is designed for early-career talent, who are stepping into a world of work that’s fast-changing, emotionally demanding, and often unclear.

  • New graduates, learning how to contribute meaningfully while still figuring out how things work.

  • Emerging professionals feeling the pressure to perform while still figuring out their place.
  • Young changemakers who care about doing meaningful work, but feel stretched by expectations.
  • Future leaders who don’t want to wait until they’ve got a title to make an impact.

What This Programme Builds

  • Resilience – reducing the risk of burnout by understanding reactivity and building capacity to engage with challenges.

  • Improve retention and wellbeing – giving people the support they need to stay engaged, productive and enjoy work.

  • Develop future leaders who are reflective and responsive – not just capable, but thoughtful and grounded in their approach.

  • Strengthen culture from the ground up – embedding a shared language and collaborative capacity.

  • Bridge intergenerational expectations – helping new talent make sense of how things work and contribute meaningfully.

  • Skill focus – build confidence to connect, engage, and reach their potential.

Programme Outline

Future // Now runs over six months, featuring a mix of in-person and virtual sessions designed to run alongside your day-to-day work demands.

Content Overview

The modules are designed to build core capabilities that support success in today’s fast-moving, collaborative work environments. Across the programme, participants strengthen their ability to think clearly, take effective action, relate well to others, and manage themselves under pressure.

Explore the framework that shapes our work: the Collaboration Compass

Module 1: How Work Really Works

Get behind the scenes of modern work life.
This session breaks down the everyday realities of organisational life, how things actually work. You’ll explore unwritten rules, myths and stories, and common misconceptions that can trip people up early in their careers. By connecting with others and naming what’s often left unsaid, you’ll build the awareness and confidence to navigate your environment more effectively.

Module 2: Your Patterns Under Pressure

Exploring and better noticing your patterns under pressure.
This module helps you decode how your mind and body respond under pressure, spot the early signals of burnout, and distinguish between healthy drive and harmful patterns. You’ll leave with simple, evidence-informed strategies to support focus, energy, and long-term wellbeing.

Module 3: Know Your Modes

Shift from reacting to responding.
We all have patterns, especially when things get tough. This session introduces practical tools to help you recognise when you're operating on autopilot (people-pleasing, overworking, withdrawing) and how to shift into a more grounded, creative mode. It’s about building skill and learning to lead from wherever you are at.

Module 4: Perspective & Possibility

Your view isn’t the whole picture, and that’s a strength.
Being able to pause, reflect, and notice how your story might differ from others’ is key to working well in teams. This module builds your capacity for perspective-taking, introduces practical tools and helps you get more comfortable with complexity, disagreement, and collaboration.

Module 5: Voice That Connects

Speak up, stay open, and build trust.
Navigating power, feedback, and relationships is a key part of modern work, but it can feel risky. This session gives you practical ways to express yourself clearly, listen with care, and turn difficult conversations into opportunities for connection and trust.

Module 6: Put It Into Practice

Apply what you’ve learned, and shape what comes next.
This final, in-person day gives you space to test new tools, reflect on your learning, and define what success looks like for you going forward. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what you bring, and how to keep growing it.
