Martin is known for his ability to connect the dots, between ideas, people, and systems, and turn that insight into momentum. He works with founders, executives, and boards to reimagine business models, embed ESG strategy, and accelerate innovation that drives real-world impact. His approach is open, adaptable, and deeply attuned to both commercial and planetary outcomes.

Martin began his career in manufacturing and plant engineering, before spending over a decade in Asia, most notably 11 years in China developing global supply chains and production infrastructure. Since 2013, he’s focused on entrepreneurship and venture building, leading and advising ventures in electric mobility, data analytics, energy, and sustainable infrastructure.

He holds a dual master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen), and a PhD in Industrial Ecology and Environmental Economics. He speaks English, German, and Chinese, and brings a systems-level perspective to all his work, balancing strategic vision with practical delivery.

Martin has worked with clients and ventures including MAN, AQAL Capital, NDC Datacenters, SNRG MicroGrids, and Corinthia Hotel London. He’s passionate about building ventures and partnerships that move us toward a more regenerative future.
